Cornerstone’s Admission
Procedures are listed below. If you have any questions regarding any of
the following steps, please feel free to contact us.
Each
applicant shall submit a completed:

Application for admission, including student essay when applicable

Registration card (available from CCA Office) and the non-refundable
$50 application fee

Student appraisal completed by a third party along with a copy of the
student's most recent report card and progress report

Request for release of records authorizing Cornerstone Christian
Academy to view the student’s cumulative file, any I.E.P. information,
etc.

Signed copy of the Parent/Student Contract agreeing to abide by the
policies of Cornerstone Christian Academy, observe the dress requirements
and the Statement of Faith (We believe...)
The
student will also:
- Spend
a day in class at our school
- Be
interviewed by the Head of School
- Complete
verbal and non-verbal standardized placement testing (Grades 2-8) Testing
will generally be administered during the visit at the school
- Demonstrate
a strong desire to attend Cornerstone Christian Academy
- Possess
an acceptable record of behavior and academic achievement at other schools
Age
Requirements
Student
seeking admission to:
- Preschool
shall be age 4 by September 30
- Kindergarten
shall be age 5 by September 30
- Grade
1 shall be age 6 by September 30
In
addition, each Preschool/Kindergarten applicant will need:
- To
provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate
- To
complete a readiness assessment with the classroom teacher

year we do have limited financial aid available, please refer to our scholarship
policy for more information.
