Each year Cornerstone receives limited donations to our scholarship fund for subsidizing the tuition of academically qualified students whose families demonstrate financial need. All tuition assistance is awarded according to the amount of gifts given to the Academy for this purpose.

Scholarship Qualifications:

Space must be available in our class to accommodate the student. The student must be in good academic and behavioral standing, with their student account paid in full to date, in order to qualify for tuition assistance. Scholarships do not cover registration or book and program fees. Families who receive tuition assistance will be asked to volunteer 30 hours per year in an approved area of service, and sign a scholarship agreement outlining the terms of the scholarship. (Families receiving tuition assistance for more than one child are encouraged to volunteer more than 30 hours.) Scholarship students must re-apply for scholarships each school year.

Family Financial Needs Assessment (FFNA):

Cornerstone has contracted with a third party financial need assessment service, FFNA, to help determine a family's need for tuition assistance. For a fee payable by the applicant to FFNA ($20 Regular Processing; $30 On-line Processing; $40 Fast Back Processing), this service will assess your confidential application for financial aid and make recommendations directly to the school based on their analysis of your application. For more information please contact us for a FFNA application packet or visit the FFNA website at www.ffna1.com.  Please note: you must complete your application for admission to the school before your application for tuition assistance will be considered.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

  • Availability of funds
  • Documented financial need of a family as recommended to the school by FFNA application
  • Family’s payment history with Cornerstone (for current families)
  • Student’s academic and behavioral record and the availability of classroom space
  • Family’s commitment to 30 hours of volunteer work in an approved area of service

Source of Scholarship Funds:

Scholarship funds are limited to what we can raise through individual and annual fund raising activities. We encourage all families to support these fund raising efforts so that we may increase the size of our scholarship account. We also seek corporate and individual donations to help Cornerstone while receiving a tax deduction. Should you be interested please contact CCA at (603) 539-8636 or email us at cca@worldpath.net.
